Yarn Bombing

Today a group from Anchorage Guerrilla Knitters yarn-bombed some trees at Westchester Lagoon. For the record, it was 18º F when I got there.

I knitted a piece with a leaf motif.

I sewed it onto a tree and sewed a few more pieces donated by others onto some other trees.
I found a spot in the snow where a moose had lain down, but didn't think to take a photo of it.

Someone from the Alaska Dispatch News was there. Also someone from Channel 2. Everybody is looking for some positive, cheerful news, I suppose.
